Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Data controller

The data controller is Regazzi Serramenti e Facciate — Steelia SA, Via alle Gerre 1, CH-6596 Gordola, Switzerland. For any question about data protection you can write to [email protected].

2. Legal framework

We process personal data in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in force since 1 September 2023) and, where applicable, the European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

3. Scope

This policy applies exclusively to this website. It does not cover third-party sites reachable through links, including steelia.ch, which have their own policies.

4. Browsing data

While browsing, IT systems automatically collect some technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited and access times. This data is necessary to run the site and is used only in aggregate, anonymous form to verify that it works correctly.

5. Data provided voluntarily

By filling in the intervention request form you send us your name, email, phone, address, the description of the problem and any photos. This data is used exclusively to answer your request and organise the intervention, and is not shared with third parties outside the Steelia group.

6. Cookies

The site uses technical cookies that are essential for it to work (for example to remember your cookie preferences). Third-party content — such as the Google Maps map — is loaded only after your explicit consent. We do not use statistics or marketing cookies; should they be introduced in the future, new consent will be requested.

7. Third-party services

The site may load Google services: Google Fonts for typefaces, Google reCAPTCHA to protect the contact form from abuse and Google Maps for the location map (only with your consent). These services may process technical data such as the IP address according to Google’s own policies.

8. Data retention

Data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless longer legal retention obligations apply.

9. Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and object to processing, by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

10. Managing preferences

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.

11. Updates

This policy may be updated. Substantial changes will be announced on this page with a new update date.
